Well Halloween Has come and gone, and the Mask that you bought has served it's purpose!You grab onto it, and put it on one last time, and gaze into a mirror, and have a giggle!As quickly as you put it on, you remove it in an instant, and throw it in your dresser drawer,under the bed, or in a box, ready for next years Halloween Celebrations!A sad moment is experienced by all!
This so called poor little mask, could bring your life into a new light!It could make you famous, it could land you a job, it could create a great movement within society, that perhaps will change this Ill world forever!You may think I'm crazy, but look many of us go through life thinking and feeling in such away, that for the most part it never comes to the surface!
So basically we all live behind an invisible mask in reality!I think that the mask is a very handy tool to explore these areas, that lie deep within ourselves!Not only this, but simply involving a mask in other areas of life, is very refreshing, and can only stimulate one's imagination!You could have a black Tie event, by which all participants would have to wear a mask, and only reveal themselves at the stroke of midnight!You could introduce the mask at a board meeting, allowing those attending to loosen up and enjoy life, and have loads of laughs.
You could wear it to a sporting event, many do!Weddings perhaps, funerals... why not...the deceased would probably be having a good chuckle!It's all about being a free spirit, and not conforming!Conformity kills each and all of us, it is the cancer of creativity!
Another area to use the mask, would be perhaps a barbershop Quartet, or a bluegrass Band.Why not a marching band, the mask could be made, so as to accommodate horn players and such!Their is no limits to the fun and exploration of ones inner world with a mask!When you put the mask on, you become what you feel inside!And that alone is worth the effort in all of this!Being true to whom you really are, the spirit that is trapped in a conformed body, wanting to come out and be free!
I leave you with these thoughts, people may say your nuts, or that I'm nuts....but these are the very people that need to break free, and be true to themselves.It is only through these little efforts(wearing a mask), that we shall come face to face with whom we really are, and that my fellow mask wearer is what life is all about...self discovery and releasing the spirit to fly high and limitless!If you can do this, then all you desire in this lifetime will be yours!
